Sundays
Prime activities include snuggling w/Nala in front of the fire after a brisk neighbourhood walk.

And watching the Yorkshire pudding rise until they become oversized puff balls.

Then squishing those perfectly fluffy yorkies in a mash of roast beef and jus, alongside crispy roast potatoes, candy-cane sweet beets, carrots and parsnips. A big helping of horseradish on the side of course.
Finish with a platter of miniature cakes and tea from the Chinese bakery. That’s my kind of Sunday.
Wearing: Preloved for Holt Renfrew sweater (made w/recycled materials), Burton toque, Frye Melissa Button Boots.

On some weeks, Sundays are my only day off, so having down time to relax and enjoy a comfort meal is so important to me. I have a sweet tooth, so those cakes are making me drool! Bet they were light and fluffy to eat!
I love Sundays too!
Mmmmm those yorkshire puddings look amazing… we’ve never tried to make anything like that! Looks difficult! Can you post the recipe?
Yummm!!!!
Hehe you guys will just have to come over for them sometime.
Seriously though, they’re not difficult – hubby uses Jamie Oliver’s recipe http://www.food.com/recipe/jamie-olivers-huge-yorkshire-puddings-171106
Just try not to open the oven door b/c it causes them to deflate.
hmmm, reading this post when hungry is deadly! Now I have insane cravings for some yorkshire!
I love your outfit here. The sweater especially, since it is made with recycled material.
You and Nala look so cozy together.
