White Out
In my perfect world, I would live in my all off-white clapboard cottage by the warm sea. I would wear white dresses everyday, or as much as the weather permitted (even warm places have moody days).
Nothing says summer more than a simple white dress. Cropped, swingy, maxi, clingy, off-the-shoulder, capped sleeves, lace, crochet, cotton – they’re all equally wonderful. A few of my favourites from Shopbop below.

I’m especially in love with this Notte by Marchesa Column One Shoulder Gown because the oversized flower reminds me a little of my own wedding dress. The ruffled mini below, also a Notte by Marchesa, reminds me of the bottom part of my mermaid shaped wedding dress.

Speaking of white wedding dresses, of course I loved Kate’s. Not so secretly though, I liked Pippa’s more. And maybe that’s why I love white dresses so much – a symbol of innocence, romance, and simplicity.

Oh wow I love the cut of that Tibi eyelet dress! It’s very modest and yet so edgy I think in its shape.

I love the dresses, especially the Kimono and the 70′s inspired bell sleeved one. Now if only I wasn’t such a messy eater…

I love the idea of wearing a white dress in the summer, but i don’t have the guts for it. I know I’ll manage to spill something on it before I’m out of the house.
